New and more detailed labeling requirements, among other changes, are expected to be enacted in 2012. Still, these changes are not expected to alter the fact that The Bahamas is very receptive to U.S. products. With 95 percent of food and agricultural product imports traditionally coming from the United States, The Bahamas recognizes and accepts U.S. standards for nearly all farm products. Click here
