India’s National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP) has given accreditation to four new certifying bodies (organisations), while removing curbs on Fair Cert Certifications allowing it to register new processors and traders.

India has extended the export ban on onion till further orders, the government said. Earlier, onion exports were prohibited till March 31 this year.

India's proposed free trade agreements (FTAs) with the UK and Oman are expected to figure in the commerce ministry's 100-day agenda roadmap for the new government, an official said. The ministry will also focus on issues pertaining to the exporting community with a view to promoting the country's outbound shipments.
