India's tea exports touch 254.67 million kg in 2024: Tea Board.
India's tea exports reached 254.67 million kg during the January to December 2024 period, moving the country up to the third position globally in the export of the beverage, a statement by the Tea Board of India said. The total value realisation from tea exports in 2024 stood at Rs 7,111.43 crore, reflecting a notable increase from the previous year.

India & Brazil: Strengthening Global Food Security - Agriculture Minister Chouhan.
Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday said that joint efforts of India and Brazil could play an important role in strengthening global food security. During a meeting with 27 members of Brazil's agribusiness community in Sao Paulo, Chouhan praised the widespread use of machinery in Brazilian agriculture, particularly in cotton and soybean harvesting, and expressed hope for cooperation in these areas, according to an official statement.
